  • EUROPE & HORIZON EUROPE

Participating in European Research & Innovation

    · What is Horizon Europe?

Horizon Europe is the European Union’s main programme for supporting research and innovation from 2021 to 2027. It brings together researchers, companies, universities, public organisations and other partners to develop new technologies, ideas and practical solutions to major European and global challenges.

The programme provides funding through open and competitive calls for proposals. Organisations and project teams come together around a shared challenge, build a project proposal and apply for European funding to develop and test their ideas.

Horizon Europe covers a wide range of areas, from health, digital technologies and industry to climate, energy, mobility, biodiversity, food and culture. Its overall goals are to strengthen European research and technological capabilities, support innovation and competitiveness, address major global challenges and contribute to sustainable development.

    · Why Horizon Europe matters to Syntezia

For Syntezia, Horizon Europe provides an opportunity to connect Swiss expertise, innovation projects and partners with European research and innovation initiatives. We follow relevant calls and look for opportunities where Syntezia can contribute its expertise in innovation, sustainability, digital transformation, living labs and project development.
