Syntezia creates and co-organises events that bring together people from different backgrounds to exchange ideas, explore challenges, experiment with new approaches and turn promising concepts into practical opportunities.
Our events combine innovation, sustainability, collaboration and knowledge sharing. Depending on the format, participants may take part in co-creation workshops, innovation games, design fiction, creative writing, scientific popularisation, pitching sessions, networking and project development.
We believe that meaningful innovation often starts with the right people meeting around a real challenge. Our events are designed to create those connections and help ideas move from discussion toward projects, partnerships and action.

What is Syntezia Open?
Syntezia Open is Syntezia's eco-responsible open-lab and event format, created to bring together participants, project teams, partners, experts and other stakeholders around real-world sustainability and innovation challenges.
The format combines co-creation, experimentation, design thinking, design fiction, creative writing, networking and project development. Participants can explore a challenge, generate ideas, form teams, develop concepts and, where appropriate, continue toward feasibility studies, prototypes, funding applications or other forms of implementation.Across its editions, Syntezia Open has addressed subjects including carbon-free mobility, the circular and symbiotic economy, water, biodiversity, blue economy, urban heat islands, sustainable resources and responsible innovation. The events have also created opportunities for participants to meet new partners and develop teams around emerging projects.

SYNTEZIA OPEN 2023
Lausanne · Objective Earth Festival
The 2023 edition brought Syntezia Open into the Objectif Terre Festival in Lausanne, combining design fiction, creative writing and experimentation around sustainable and desirable futures. The day generated innovative ideas, brought new teams together and explored themes including circular and blue economy, biodiversity, construction, food and future events.

SYNTEZIA OPEN 2024 — FRANCE
Lyon & Haut-Bugey
The 2024 French edition explored eco-challenges including urban heat islands, biodiversity protection, low-energy 3D printing and fishing-net recycling. The programme combined co-creation, experimentation, design fiction and learning activities, with the aim of turning sustainability challenges into concrete ideas and collaborations.

SYNTEZIA OPEN 2024 — SWITZERLAND
Geneva · Palexpo & Lake Geneva
The Swiss edition focused strongly on water, the blue circular economy and the relationship between innovation and natural resources. It included eco-challenges, workshops, creative writing, design fiction, calls for contributions, networking and opportunities to develop projects and teams around themes such as biodiversity, mobility, heat islands and circularity.

SYNTEZIA OPEN 2025 — ARTS
Geneva · United Nations District
The 2025 edition explored the intersection of innovation, social art experimentation and scientific popularisation, with a strong focus on the blue economy, water, soil, biodiversity and regenerative and symbiotic approaches.
The programme included outdoor activities, co-creation workshops, innovation games, virtual collaboration with international partners and opportunities to develop ideas toward project funding. It also featured a collaboration with the Institute for Art and Innovation around artistic approaches to ocean-related systemic challenges.

SYNTEZIA OPEN 2025 — INVENTIONS
Geneva · International Exhibition of Inventions
This edition took place at Palexpo during the 50th anniversary of the International Exhibition of Inventions in Geneva and centred on water and the fragile water cycle.
It brought inventors, scientists and other participants together around themes including blue energy, environmental DNA, clean water, water reuse, biodiversity, circular economy and the blue economy. Participants could also explore new collaborations and co-develop ideas with partners attending the exhibition.
TEKTITE
What is TEKTiTE?
TEKTiTE is an open-innovation and business-development format designed to connect innovative technology providers with organisations looking for new solutions.
The programme brings together startups, scale-ups, universities, research organisations, global companies, investors, corporate innovation teams and other stakeholders to create opportunities for collaboration.
Rather than simply presenting projects, TEKTiTE combines e-pitching, targeted business meetings, visibility and partnership opportunities to help promising solutions connect with organisations that may become customers, partners or investors.
SYNTEZIA'S ROLE
Syntezia contributes to TEKTiTE through activities such as project preparation, strategic alignment, business-model support, innovation workshops, negotiation preparation, proposal development and impact evaluation, depending on the edition and programme. In 2026, for example, Syntezia is co-organising the Digital Economy edition and providing a readiness programme covering strategic alignment, innovation capability building and POC/R&D proposal support.
Our TEKTITE Editions
TEKTiTE 2025 — HEALTHCARE
E-Pitching Day · HealthTech
The 2025 edition focused on innovative healthcare startups and connected them with global companies looking for new technologies and solutions.
Selected startups had opportunities to showcase their solutions, gain international exposure, receive expert feedback and develop relationships with potential corporate partners, investors and other stakeholders. The programme also included pitch preparation, mentoring and one-to-one meetings.

The 2026 edition focuses on connecting innovative startups with global companies seeking cutting-edge solutions in the digital economy.
The programme is designed to create opportunities for market access, strategic partnerships, joint ventures, investment and collaborative innovation, supported by Syntezia's readiness programme before the e-pitching event.
